Genesis 8:22 – While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease

I pray that the new Year be an extension of the prosperity, promise, promotion and newness of life that began in 2010. Stay watchful and be prayerful, for those diligent in Christ shall see the breakthrough of the signs that were seen. The transfer of wealth has begun.

Only those in the right place, doing the right things with the right heart will receive the manifested blessings of overabundance promised in Eph 3:20.

Be quiet, listen to the Holy Spirit, be tender when you answer Pro 15:1, Pro 16:1

Now is not the time to get out of character if someone does not respond the way you anticipated. Remember, that WHATSOEVER you do, do it heartily as unto the Lord, and not unto men. Col 3:23

Step outside of yourself, and in faith, bless someone else the way you NEED to be blessed. Do not despise small beginnings, a dollar can still go a long way! – Pro 19:17

Be moved by God and know that sometimes, to some of us, He may say, just stand still. Whatever He says to do, do it without hesitation, murmuring or hardness of heart. It may not look, feel or taste right, but God is never wrong! – Pro 3:5-6

Forgive everyone of everything! This keeps many of us in lack, without and struggling year after year. The Lord our God is always looking to bless us – II Chron 16:9

Encourage someone, teach someone how to stand on their own two feet, not continue to live hand to mouth – Heb 10:24

Believe that you receive when you pray in Jesus name – Mark 11:24, I John 5:14-15

Spend time alone with the Lord forging a personal relationship. Humble yourself, recognize the need for a risen saviour and Keep Him first in your life. The transformation will be one that shall continue to unfold in ways that astonish and amaze you all the days of your life -- Deu 11: 13-14

Remain faithful, don't be consumed with your circumstances nor be moved by what you see or hear. God can do ANYTHING! Trust Him when your back is up against the wall, when things look dire, when it seems that there is no way. TRUST and He will do the impossible -- II Chron 20:1-7, 12-13, (key verse) 15

2011--Eleven is perfect organization plus one extra. One more than required, an extra measure, something more than only what is required. Eleven is the number of revelation

God bless,
Pamyla

It's not over

Jeremiah 29:11 -- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end

As the new year approaches, we find ourselves reflecting back over the past twelve months, and sometimes, previous years. It is the job of the deceiver to make us feel like failures or victims in our lives. As we take stock, we must realize that although we cannot change nor forget the past, we can, with God's help use them to live our lives in His will.

I realize I made things sound easy, but, my point is that with God, all things are possible. satan is seductive, and will any situation, conversation, or circumstance in our lives, to remove the focus away from the Lord, and put it square on ourselves. he then starts introducing memories from our pasts. Suddenly, we are reminiscing about the 'good ole days' with fondness and delight.

WE have not handed satan the keys to come in and redecorate our spiritual houses. When we take the marbles labeled with our cares, out of God's capable hands, we stand in agreement with satan for a better way. he takes us to a place of isolation and throws the blanket of depression over our heads; a state where we cannot hear or think clearly. He wants to muffle out the voice of the Lord, but cannot because He said that His sheep know H voice Make no mistake, this is not a game, satan plans to steal, kill and destroy our lives.

I Corinthians 15:34 tells us to awake to righteousness and sin not. Instead of speaking words of death and defeat, make declarations of faith such as, "I am more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ". Say it aloud, say it often, get it in your spirit, and begin to emerge from the entrapment and strongholds. It's never too late to return home! Repent, ask for forgiveness, and move forward in Christ. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, make the right choice today!

God bless,
Pamyla

Who do you belong to?

Thy people shall be my people, an thy God my God – Ruth 1:16d

That’s a good question for us to ask ourselves. If we look back at the book of Ruth, we will see two central characters namely Ruth and her sister in law Orpha. Both were from Moab (the world), and like us, had an encounter with the true and living God. After their husbands died, they along with their mother in law Naomi headed for Jerusalem.

Along the way, something interesting happened. You see, at some point, we will have to ask ourselves who we really belong to. While it was apparent that Ruth received the great I Am for herself. It is also apparent that Orpha SEEMED to accept Him as her God.

If we go to church because Granny did, or because that new person we are dating or married to does, or because it seems like the right thing to do; then we need to check out our ‘salvation’. The time to accept Christ in our lives is now! At some point we must ALL come broken in spirit, repenting, asking forgiveness of our sins. We must too must believe and confess with our own mouths that YES, Jesus is the son of God, whom He hath raised from the dead.

If we think we are saved by riding on the coat tails of others, we are sadly mistaken. Have you ever heard someone say that they USED to be a Christian? They can say that because they never had a personal relationship with Jesus. They never received Him and when they didn’t get their way, they went back into the world (Moab) where they served teh same gods as before. So, I will ask you again. Who do you belong to? If you are not sure, or want help in the prayer of salvation, please email me.

Thank You

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; -- James 1:2

"Wakin' up in the morning seeing the sunrise, because of oyou, I Thank You Lord!" These are words from a song entitled "Be Thankful" by Natalie Cole. I heard it last week, and it has been replaying over and over again in my head. As I meditated on the words I thought about my own life and what Jesus means to me.

You knew that You would be betrayed, yet You expressed love for one another, how to inherit the kingdom of God, and how to live abundant lives in this place, which is not our home.

You wore a crown of thorns, pressed into your skull, and took 39 lashes from whips borne of leather, with sharpened metal and broken pottery woven into them. For miles You carried the cross, to which you would endure unimaginable pain, as nails were driven into your hands and feet. You hung there, in the heat, naked and beaten beyond recognizion. You were spat on, and labored to breathe; yet you still forgave us. You could have called angels to minister to you, but for love you didn't. On the third day, just as you promised, you returned. You hold the keys of hell and of death. The tomb is empty. Our faith is not in vain.

I say Thank You Lord!", triumpumphantly and with a shout that travels from the very depths of my soul. Unhibited, unashamed and with great joy, I'm thankful that I am here another day to start over again. I'm thankful that I have another chance to make things right with failed relationships. I'm thankful that I can read Your word; praise and worship you in total freedom.

It is well with my soul. You are the author and finisher of my faith and I will run this race with patience. Thank you Lord, for all you have done! I know know what real life is. It is because of you that I’m free. When you don’t know what else to say, just say “Thank you!”

God bless,
Pamyla

Unspeakable joy

And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost -- Acts 13:52

Happiness is something that comes and goes. We can be happy about a new job, a new pair of shoes or an upcoming event in our lives. We can be happy one minute and not so happy the next. It is fleeting and comes and goes.

Joy on the other hand, comes from deep within. We can have joy even when things are not going well in our lives. This joy comes from who Jesus is and who we are in Him. When we know that our sins are not covered by the blood of animals sacrificed, but that the blood of Jesus that cleanses and redeems, we can be assured that our joy is complete in Him.

Because of our relationship with Christ, we can still have joy when we are faced with job loss, relationship troubles, and everything else satan throws our way. There is no devil in hell, no curse, no psychic no thing or no one who can take our joy away. We are complete in Christ who is the author and finisher of our faith; we are made whole in Him, and can move forward without fear!

Get the word in you! Read it, meditate on it, and read it again. In the movie, The Book of Eli, the character Eli had the last remaining bible and was charged with its care. When the enemy took the bible from him, it seemed that all was lost. But because the word was in him, he was able to complete his task. I suggest that you rent the movie. If you have seen it already, you might want to see it again.

Rejoice – the time of fulfillment is now!

Colossians 3:23 -- And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

In the name of Jesus we come Father; thanking you for all that you have done in our lives. WE thank you for a roof over our heads, for food on our tables, in the cupboards, for transportation, clothing, family, and friends and for overflowing abundance in all areas of our lives especially spiritually. Thank you for allowing us to serve you single heartedly, not under compulsion, nor for gifts that we may receive, but because of who you are.

Thank you for hearing our prayers, as they move toward you as fireballs through the heavens bursting with a sweet fragrance spillilng into your nostrils. We thank you Lord for allowing us to by your power and might; to give out of our own need, unselfishly, willingly and lovingly to our brothers and sisters as if unto you.

Thank you for blessing these saints. These intercessors, these vessels of faith and of promise and thank you for causing their ministries to excel under your mighty hand, for you have said that in due season if we faint not, we will be exalted. Father they have been faithful to you, they have planted seeds and I come standing in the gap asking that you remember the work of your servants.

Remember how they labored in counsel when sleep was at their doorway, please remember how they gave food they themselves needed. Lord, remember how they transported others when they were riding on fumes. Remember them for their faithfulness as they gave mentally, spiritually and physically as well.

Father bless them in ways so that all would know that only you could have don such a thing. Many are standing in expectancy of unanswered prayers. Lord open the floodgates right now this day. Show yourself mightily in their lives, so that even those who they might have been deemed unapproachable, speak of your goodness...let them even confess the Lord Jesus and want to know you for themselves.

Allow these your beacons of light Lord to lack no thing. Allow miracles to follow them, flowing through them and let their words, spoken in your will come to pass. Father for their faithfulness and obedience in tithing; let them be drenched with a double portion even 100 fold measure of blessings upon blessings and thank you for meeting them right where they are this very day.

In Jesus name we thank you
AMEN

Count it all Joy

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; -- James 1:2

A song to the Lord:

Lord I don't understand what, why and surely not how. But I know that things are quickly moving. Moving out of place, into nothing that makes sense.

Days drag on, my heart beats strong, for what it does endure. Temptations come but why now, so enticing so strong, unpure. My mind wonders of it’s meaning. I count it all you.

Things I had not thought about in ages, things I never thought about before. Now as I step forward in faith, there are things lurking behind each and every door.

"Come back" they cry, "you don't have to do without, I have life for you". 'They' watch as we grow in God’s grace. 'They' want to take His place.

Like a tree in the middle of the desert lone; the leaves are green, pure and strong. Knowing what's behind, there is no hesitation to run toward what lies before. I count it all joy.

No fear because it is not of Him, no worries because they were never of Him. No doubt nor unbelief, because faith is the way. He supplies all my needs, and in Him I am....whole this very day. I count it all joy.

As a wanderer, struggling against desert storms that would wisk me away. I lean on Him the one in whom I can depend. In Him is life, for he is the way. I am not alone, not even in a storm. It is His voice I hear, that leads the way.

I can smile when others leave me, rejoice when they do not want to be near me. God is my refuge in Him will I trust. He is my shelter, my strongtower.

His love is unwavering, in Him I am complete. I can hold my head high, live life full, satisfied; there is no hunger, He is my meat. He loves me without no judgment and to me He will never lie. I'll love Him and serve Him always, even unto the day I die. I count it all joy.

The Word Illustrated #60--The ineffective prophet

The Word Illustrated #60

The ineffective prophet

To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: -- I Corinthians 12:10

Many in the body of Christ are with gifts they use for the glory of God. Some are born with their gifts; others are given gifts in life. In I Corinthians 14:1, we are encouraged to follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that we prophesy. The gifts and callings of God are not withdrawn, but they can become ineffective.

When we step out of the will of God, we are telling Him that we can handle our lives better than He. The prophet out of order will:

• Take advantage of others because of their gifting
• Take (steal) what he/she feels they are entitled to
• Use their gift to glorify themselves rather than God or edify the church
• Engage in activities against the flesh, because they feel that they can

When in a rebellious state, any word given becomes cancerous to the person/church that it goes out to. The prophet’s vision is clouded, and they cannot differentiate whether they are actually hearing from the Spirit of the Lord, or seeing through their vain imagination. The receiver is left in a state of confusion, because the word does not bear witness with their spirit. They do not confirm anything that the Lord has already told them, they are words that fall to the ground null and void. Confusion is of the devil, and is he is pulling the strings, putting their life where he wants it, in his hands.

Prophets are people set apart; they have to hear and move, by the voice of the Lord, and not by the influence of man. If not girded with the amour of God, they experience doubt and unbelief. Next, depression sets in, paranoia begins to take over, and they continually look over their shoulders like a criminal on the run. Not only is their sanity threatened, but their very lives are on the line at this point! satan comes to kill, steal and destroy, and he seduces with acceptance and the promise of friends. he wants to and will silence for good any prophet whose ears he can shut from hearing the voice of the Lord their God.

Now the health of the ineffective prophet is under attack as he moves to take your life. If this is you, and you have been living a life outside of God’s standards, I suggest that you confess your sins, ask forgiveness and begin taking the steps to get back in right fellowship and service. I also suggest that you team up with a trustworthy intercessor with whom you can openly pray with. Remember, you are a priest and a prophet, and that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you! I’m glad to see you back.

God bless,
Pamyla

The Word Illustrated #59--Patience

The Word Illustrated #59
© Pamyla Floyd

Revised from: Feb 28, 2002

Patience

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulation worketh patience Romans 5:3

I can attest this scripture to be true. During times of tribulation, we have the added bonus of a more intimate relationship with the Lord. I had no other choice, but to sit at His feet while He worked with me, on me and thru me. As we go through, our patience is refined by way of the persecution, trials and tribulations of life.

How can we ever grow, develop and mature if we don't experience storms. No one likes going through, but even when all is breaking loose around us, we can find peace that surpasses all understanding through Jesus Christ. I Peter 5:7 says to cast ALL of our cares upon Him, for he cares for us. All means all! When we hold onto things that disturb our peace, our rest, our health we are not in the will of God. We MUST keep our eyes on the prize and press toward the high calling of Jesus Christ.

WE already know what we left behind, need we go back? Ok then, no more standing still. Life is not about yelling and screaming to get our way, or blowing up when we hear things we don't like. Impatience will show up as immaturity or disguise itself as abusive. It is not easy to detect and deal with, but what sweet victory when it is recognized and surrendered to our loving savior.

I had to learn to stop talking so much. Before I thought, I spoke. Patience meant nothing to me, it was just a word. I'm not proud of that part of me, but I am grateful that it is in my past now. Jesus helped me overcome the thing that was destroying my life, and all of my relationships along with it. There is life and death in the power of the tongue, and I used mine to cause death. I have to be honest about it. WE all have something or some things that need to be purged from our lives.

There comes a time in everyone’s life where some thing holds us captive in such a way, that it literally takes our breath away. We become afraid to breathe out. .WE are continually broken before the Lord and deliverance comes quickly if we acknowledge, release and allow the work to begin. When we are put in a position where all we can do is to cling tightly to those things we know to be true and sure, it is then that patience has a chance to have her good work in us.

Surrender now. It is still daylight and much life is left to be lived the right way.

God bless,
Pamyla

No fear

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God—Philippians 4:6

Fear is the opposite of faith. It causes emotional reactions in our brains that express it physically. They usually start out as harmless rational concerns which quickly grow and take on a new life form. Worry can cause us to behave irrationally, becoming delusional about a thing, cynical toward others, and depressed about life. Fear also causes doubt.

If left unchecked, we will begin to see the thing we feared most, come to life. Fear cripples and wreaks havoc in the life of the believer. It is what we meditate on in our hearts, and what we say out of our mouths that bring about the change in our lives. It will cause nervous twitches, grumbling, and irrational behavior of all sorts, which are outward expressions of the works of the devil in our lives. What are you meditating on? What lies are you telling yourself?

Oh, I know that I am speaking to blood bought, born again believers in Jesus Christ, but I also know what I'm talking about. If all we have done is received Him as lord over our lives, and do not have renewed minds, we do the same things we did before receiving salvation in Christ. God cannot bless disobedience which is what fear is.

When we live in fear our prayers bounce off of the ceiling that is why the ‘believer’ has to ask someone else to pray for him/her rather than ask someone to stand in agreement with them in prayer. Fear has to go in Jesus name. Stand on the word of God stand. Be firm in your commitment toward Him and He will see you through! Have no fear; God is with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Praise Him!

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name -- Psalms 100:4

As born again Christians, we can freely praise the Lord our God anywhere and at anytime. Remember the bondage He brought you out of? Remember how He brought you back from the brink of death? When man gave up, the Lord stepped in and performed a miracle healing. Remember how he fed, clothed and kept you in your right mind? Remember how He made a way out of no way? Praise Him!

Praise Him for all that He has done, and for what He’s about to do! If we really sat down and counted the blessings of forgiveness, deliverance, victory through Jesus Christ, we would realize, that we could never thank and praise Him enough. We cannot, call our hearts to continually pump blood throughout our bodies. The air we breathe isn’t even our own, and there is NO way that we in our finite minds, could command our lungs to expand, rise and fill with fresh air time and time again. Praise Him!

Do you remember feeling so alone, and how He was there to hold and comfort you? What an awesome God we serve. He is our strong tower in time of trouble, and He inhabits the praises of His people. We ought to always praise Him!

Praise Him and thank Him whether the times are good times or bad! ‘Our’ time isn’t even our own, we cannot control one second apart from any minute. We don’t even know how many hairs are on our heads, but our heavenly Father does. He spoke a word long ago, telling the sun, moon and stars on how they are to behave, and today, they still follow His instructions.

He loves and cares for us more than we will ever know, so Praise Him! He is the one who can change our lives in an instant, in the blink of an eye. He can change our midnight mourning into a morning song that the birds can’t imitate. Praise Him, for He is worthy! I won’t let the rocks cry out praises in my stead – what about you!!

The Word Illustrated #56--The Word Works!

The word works!

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves – James 1:22

Those who are of the household of faith should be wealthy in knowledge, health and wealth according to the word of God. Instead, poverty, sickness and ignorance plague the body of Christ. If we believed the word, we would have no problem doing what it says to do. But, when we walk in doubt and unbelief, we cannot fully experience the abundant life that Jesus talked about in John 10:10.

If we walk in disobedience, we are standing in agreement with satan for what he says about us. Someone may say “Well I don’t know how to ‘do’ the word of God”. I say, look at James 1:5, we are told that if ANY of us lacks wisdom, to come to God, who gives to ALL men liberally (generously) and upbraideth (discourages) not and it SHALL be given him. Pray and ask God in the name of Jesus to bring you into wisdom and understanding of His word.

From personal experience, I can tell you that the word works! I had to first learn to trust God though. It is a process, and it takes time, but it is so worth it. The more I trusted Him, the more I began to walk by faith. We are like an onion whose layers are being peeled away to reveal more of what’s inside. As we begin to exhibit humbleness of heart, and go the extra mile to please the Lord, we will become less attractive to those who are hearers only of the word. Do not fret, there are more who are with us, than those who are against us. Be of good courage and move forward in Christ. He promised to never leave nor forsake us, He always keeps His word.

We are admonished to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It is a healthy reverence and respect for the Lord that Philippians 2:12 is speaking about. To live in carnality is to live a defeated life. No one wants to keep walking into walls, banging their heads, while expecting different results. We must put our faith into action in order to see positive fruit in our lives. It is what we believe in our hearts and what we say out of our mouths that come to pass. What are you speaking over your life? Change begins when we get into a Jesus believing, bible teaching church that walks by faith. In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us.

God bless,
Pamyla

Boast Not

Not of works, lest any man should boast -- Ephesians 2:9

According to Joshua 1:8 if we observe to do what is written in the bible, and meditate on it day and night, that WE shall make our way prosperous AND have good success. We must be mindful to not forget God though. In all our ways we are to acknowledge Him and it is He who will direct our paths. We can only direct ourselves into trouble.

If we forget Him, we become prideful and boastful, deceiving ourselves as we lust after the things of the flesh. This is what happened with satan, he became so full of himself, he thought that he should be praised and worshipped. He thought that he should be God. We are to lift up and magnify the name of Jesus. It is not about us. Not a one of us has a reason to think more highly of ourselves than we are. We are mere men.

http://thewordillustrated.blogspot.com

Father, thank you for all that you have done in our lives. Thank you for your loving kindness, and your tender mercies extended toward us. Please help us to always remain humble. You are our guide, our help, our strength, our God. Please forgive us for boasting, for it is you who has created the earth and everything in it. Thank you for every opportunity, blessing and help you have given us. We also thank you for going before us and keeping us from all harm and danger seen and unseen. We thank you in Jesus name AMEN

We come to know who God is through the reading of His word and we develop a personal relationship with Him through prayer. Listed are the names of God. Read, learn and get to know Him in all His many splendid ways. Let’s make our boast in Him, El Shaddai, the Almighty God.

Elohim—Strong One
Adonai—Lord, our Master
El Elyon—Most High
El Roi—the strong one who sees
El Shaddai—Almighty God
El Olam—Everlasting God
Jehovah-Self Existent One
Jehovah Nakeh-the Lord that Smites
Jehovah Shammah—The Lord who is Present
Jehovah Roi—The Lord is my Shepherd (protection)
Jehovah Tsidkenu—the Lord my Righteousness
Jehovah El Gmolah—the Lord my Rewarder
Jehovah Jireh—the Lord our Provider
Jehovah Rapha—the Lord our Healer
Jehovah Nissi—The Lord is my Banner
Jehovah Shalom—The Lord is my Peace
Jehovah Sabboath—the Lord of Hosts
Jehovah Mekaddishkem—the Lord my Sanctifier
Jehovah Perazim—The Lord my Breakthrough as a flood

Volunteer Service

With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: -- Ephesians 6:7

Volunteer--a person who voluntarily undertakes or expresses a willingness to undertake a service

About 3 years ago, I was praying and searching for a new church home. I’ve always been a volunteer at heart, and really wanted to get back into God’s service. My prayers were answered when the Lord sent me to Amazing Grace Church. In that place, He gave me all that I asked for and more.

I spoke with a friend who I highly regarded in the faith, and excitedly told her what happened to me. Her reaction stunned me. She said “Sister So and So said to sit down for a year and watch, before you get involved and worn out”. I realized then, that she had only talked about serving God, instead of actually doing it.

I’m not speaking on this to put anyone down, (I let her know that she was given the wrong advice). My point is that service to God is never wrong. It is unequalled to anything you or I will ever do in the service of man. If you are worried about waht you do, or what others will say, please know that you have been played by satan. Check your motives. Do you want to be seen by others for praise or are you thankful to the Lord for what He has done and want to bless Him back? You can NEVER out give God. The interest He pays far exceeds any other return!

I am thankful to be in a place, where the pastors encourage us to use our gifts and talents to honor God. My personal and spiritual growth has been accelerated since giving my whole heart to serving the Lord. You don’t have to pray about this, it is God’s will that we serve Him. It’s time to get off the pew, stop complaining, get in there, and do what we do best.

WE are all born with different talents, gifts and abilities, and even those we used in the world, can be turned around and used for the glory of God. How can you bless the Lord today? Be willing to allow Him to use you, you won’t regret it. Infact, you will wonder why you didn’t do so sooner.

God bless,
Pamyla

The Word Illustrated #53

Forgive

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer, and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him – I John 3:15

Forgive -- to cease to feel resentment against (an offender) : PARDON intransitive verb : to grant forgiveness

If we cannot forgive those who have done even the most horrific things against us, how can we expect God to forgive us? It is not in our nature to automatically pray for, or bless those who have abused, cursed and used us; the word of God tells us that this we must do so, or we cannot enter heaven. Jesus, on the cross, asked the Father to forgive them (us). HE was held hostage, spat on, cursed, mutilated, beaten beyond recognition, and he forgave.

Unforgiveness cripples us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. When we refuse to forgive, we are handing satan a license to afflict us with all manner of sickness and disease. If this issue is not dealt with, we find ourselves butchering relationships with people who were not present when our assaults took place. The roots of unforgiveness run deep, and its tentacles spread wide, affecting every area of our lives. Did you know that we are not to take communion if we have aught against a brother?

Forgiveness is not easy, but it can be done in faith. I learned this from my pastors. I have been freed (Hallijuleah) and I’mnow able to experience spiritual freedoms not afforded me while I held grudges against others. It is important to be led of the Holy Spirit, to know when to extend forgiveness to those who have spoiled us, or when to ask forgiveness of those whom we have wronged. We may not be received, but walking in God’s will is much more valuable, and rewarding, than approval from any man.

It is not easy, but all things really are possible with Christ. There were things that I unconsciously held on to. There were also things that I purposed in my heart to not let go of. Unforgiveness is a vicious cycle that the enemy uses to steal our health, kill our dreams, and wipe us out; Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil in our lives. We cannot enter heaven if we are harboring unforgiveness, it is NOT an attribute of God.

I cannot stress enough how walking in love and forgiveness will bless you. It is imperative that we let go of whatever we are holding over others. There may be times still when we are offended, hurt, or lied to, but we can be Christ-like in our attitude and actions towards others always. We don't have to keep score or give space in our minds as to how we will "get back" at others. The Lord says that vengeance is His.

This has been one of the most difficult assignments that the Lord has given me. It has also been one of the most important that I will ever share. I pray that I am faithful to the charge that God has given me, which is to encourage the saints, and help them to live more abundant lives in Christ.

Please, go before the Lord today and ask Him to show you where hidden unforgiveness or grudges are hidden in your heart. He is faithful to see you through every step of the way. I love you and I'm praying for you. We have to get this right.

God bless,
Pamyla

Healed in Jesus name

And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick – Matthew 14:14

Too often we lay in our sick bed, refusing to call our church family for prayer.
satan will try to convince us that we are a nuisance, or that we don’t deserve healing. he wants to keep us locked away from others, so that he can continue to steal our life away from us. Ignorance is not bliss, learn what the word says about your situation!

WE have to be careful about what we accept as truth. When I dislocated and broke my ankle this past November, I was told that I would walk with a limp, experience pain when the weather changed, and probably get cancer because of plate and screws. I was told this by well meaning Christians who did not know the word of God. I refused to accept those words, and let them fall to the ground, like rocks, null and void. I have learned to operate in faith, and not fear.

I found scriptures to meditate on, and I confessed aloud what my outcome would be -- complete and total restoration in Jesus name. If I experienced pain, I refused to think that my prayers were not heard, or that I would not be healed. When your mind is made up, you must stand, no matter what it looks, tastes, or smells like. If you begin to doubt, repent, confess the sin of doubt and unbelief, and start over again -- in faith.

Exodus 15:26 says that if we diligently listen to the voice of God and keep His commandments and statues, that He will not put any of the diseases upon us that he brought against the Egyptians. My prayer is that God would turn the plate and screws into bone. I have no pain, nor do I walk with a limp -- Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus!

The land of milk and honey

That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD – Jeremiah 11:5

God has brought many out from under the bondage of debt, and He will do it for you too. The word works, and the steps are easy, but satan will try to convince you otherwise. he will argue that they are useless, that you are in too deep, or that it only happens to other people. Resolve to not give up nor give in. See yourself living debt free.

What would your life look like? How would you feel? How much more could you help others? What could you sow into God’s kingdom if you weren’t bound by debt? Now, I know that circumstances beyond our control cause financial hardships, but we have to be honest about our part in the matter.

In prayer, be truthful and honest. Repent, and ask the Lord to help you get out of debt. Gather all of your bills into a pile, and call them paid in Jesus name. We must speak to our mountains in faith, without doubt, says Matthew 21:21. Begin with the smallest balance, and formulate a plan to pay if off, Keep going, until all bills are paid in full. See yourself living debt free

Be humbled when speaking with your creditors. This is necessary, and it is pleasing to God. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. satan tried to tempt Jesus, so don’t fall to pieces when he shows up. You MUST find supportive scriptures to stand on, and mediate on them daily, saying them aloud. What’s in you is what comes out of you. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God AMEN! See yourself living debt free

Be patient. If you are standing in need of something, God through His Holy Spirit will instruct you on what to do. You can’t know His voice if you aren’t spending time alone with Him. Minimize your distractions and allow Him to be your joy. By the time you cross over into the Promised Land, you will have learned how to walk, talk, and think differently, toward all that He has given you charge over. Your relationship with Him will be a beautiful bond more beautiful than you ever imagined!

By tithing ten percent, saving ten percent, and learning to live on less; we will find ourselves living less stressed and more comfortably. By getting out of debt God’s way, we will also be able to leave an inheritance that flows down to our children’s children. There is no joy in dodging phone calls, or being stressed about going to the mail box. Jesus came to give life more abundantly. Isn’t it time we started living in it?

God bless,

The dash in the middle

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it -- Ecclesiastes 3:20

The span of a man or woman’s life varies. Some people live well into their golden years, still others do not live past the age of 30, yet still others live beyond 100 years of age. When we pass away from this world, the memorial mark for all to see is a tombstone. On it are our birthday and our day of departure from this life.

Inside of thirty days we are forgotton, unless we lead a life to be remembered. No one knows anything about us other than our name which is also on the headstone. But, what about the dash in the middle, it speaks volumes about the life we lived and left behind. How long we reside on this earth does not matter, but what we do while here matters.

The bible says that a good man/woman leaves an inheritance to his/her children's children! WE can begin to lead remarkable lives right now today. We can hold a door for someone, cook a meal, visit those in REhabilitation Centers, hospitals and jails. WE can give away those clothes that we haven't worn in a year. What about the food we throw out every 3 months. Someone could surely use it. We could help a sick neighbor by watching their children.

The list is endless folks. Remember the least that we do to another, we have also done to Christ, so make it good! But I tell you right now there are books that haven't been written, movies that have not been filmed, stories that have not been told, ministies, businesses, ideas that all die when we do, if we don't get up and get moving. Jesus came to give life more abundantly and if we don't use it fo the fullest we are not living abundant lives and our actions affect those around us. Yes, even you Mr/Ms Single. Life is for the living, live it!

Being the difference

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your selves – James 1:22

Most of us without hesitation can think back to someone, be it a former educator, parent, friend or relative who made a difference in our life. Just as many of us, I’m sure, can remember when a stranger showed us favor that made a big difference in our lives.. WE also, can be a blessing to others. All it takes is a ”YES Lord, use me to bless someone else” attitude.

When we stop looking at our circumstances and put the focus on someone else, coupled with the YES attitude, God can and will do miraculous things in us and through us. It is not about power, recognition, or about fame; it is about doing what the bible says that we ought to do anyway. Some of you reading this can attest to being given a seat, a meal, fresh clean clothes or hot water to bath in. Because of things we have faced it should be easier to put problems in the capable hands of Jesus. We all come from different backgrounds and we each have unique and interesting stories of how the Lord provided in the darkest of days. WE should not want anyone else to fee the loneliness, pain or despair we did. Life is hard enough and we can be the difference in another’s life, if we allow God to use us.

I’m not saying to do the work of the Lord so that you can be rewarded, but believe me, you cannot outgive God. The bible says that He loves a cheerful giver! WE must however, be prayerful and led by His Holy Spirit.. If we try the spirit by the Spirit as the bible suggests we can never go wrong. I remember being sick, and not having any food. A friend came by, out of the blue, and crammed my refrigerator with food! When I asked her why, she simply stated that she had been in the same situation, and knew how it felt to be without.

Now, is she a doer of the word or what! I did not call her and ask for food, but I did call out to my Heavenly Father and He supplied all of my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God is truly awesome! When I tried to repay her, she told me to bless someone else in need. Remember, man looks on the outward apperance, but it is God who looks on the heart. Be a doer of the word, be the difference and abundantly blessed!

God bless,
Pamyla

No thank you

And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer believing, ye shall receive – Matthew 21:22

God uses us to bless eachother, and the person He sends may not be someone that we are particularly fond of. So, will you turn down what you have labored over in prayer because of who God chose to deliver it? Have we turned down answered prayer, because deep down we felt that it was OUR right time?

God loves each of us and wants to bless us more than we know. I pray that none of these statements sound familiar. “Lord, I know that I asked for X amount of money, but Ms. Blah Blah, doesn’t even have a job, I can’t take money from her”, or “Lord, I asked for this blessing a year ago, it is taking too long and I’m tired of waiting”. The list could go on and on.

God has a time and a season for everything, and if we really wanted or needed what we asked of Hm it wouldn’t matter how long it took or who He used to get it to us. Our blessings are out there, floating around us in the spiritual realm waiting to be delivered. Please, let’s be careful of every idle word that comes out of our mouths, I believe that we will be judged for them.

If we aren’t hearing the answers then we need to minimize the distractions that around us. The television, radio and telephones can keep us from hearing His still small voice. The voice of others that are not glorifying God by gossiping or slandering others are a hold up of blessings also. If we are not diligent in seeking God through prayer and His word, the deceiver will seduce us so that he can get our attention away from God. The Lord has said that His sheep know His voice. If we vow to work on sharpening our relationship with Him, we will KNOW when He is speaking to us, and listen as He directs us in the way of more abundant living.

God gave His very life so that we could walk under an open heaven! It’s time to be honest and own up to the fact that we’ve said “No thank you” because we were ignorant to the process of getting and receiving answered prayer. We can repent, ask forgiveness and get it straight!

God bless,
Pamyla

Strength in numbers
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen – Matthew 28:20
satan is counting on us to NOT know the word of God, so that he can convince us that we do not matter—that we have messed up too badly, too many times etc. But if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive and remember them no more. For those who desire mates, he tortures and makes them think that they are unworthy of being loved and will always be alone. He then separates us from everyone so that he can break us down completely, and throw us into the pit of depression.

If we allow pride to keep us from seeking help, we are giving him permission to steam roll over us! God promised to perfect those things concerning us, but we have to do our part too. We must seek to have a personal relationship with Him. We learn who He is through His word, and we get closer to Him through prayer.

No matter who you are, or what you are facing, if you are a born again believer in Christ, you are never alone. We have the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and all the heavenly hosts with us.

Psalms 4:3 says the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself and that he will hear when we call Him. How awesome is that? Even more awesome is the fact that when Jesus was on the cross, He said “It is finished!” Healing is ours; we can be whole—spiritually, physically and mentally. We don’t have to suffer, and watch life pass us by, we are loved dearly. It is finished! You have the victory through Jesus Christ, and you are not alone.

Thank Him in advance

The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it -- Proverbs 10:22

We all have things we need in this life. But we MUST keep our focus on God. He is the most important thing, and in order to get to know Him we must study His word. It is alive, refreshing and in it we find His will for our lives.

Far too many times we wait until we are in a jam to call on the Lord. If He is first in our lives, then the relationship we have with Him puts us in better standing with Him. If we have a right relationship with Him we don’t have to panic or wonder whether He hears us or not.

In I John 5:14-15 there are specific instructions on how to know if our prayers are heard. If we pray in the will of God, we can be confident to know that He hears us AND that He will grant our petitions. Asking Him to break someone’s legs for us are NOT His will.

God already knows the ending right from the beginning. When Jesus went to the cross, He said that” It is finished”. The doubt, fears, worries are done with. We walk by faith and not by sight! Go ahead and thank Him, and do your dance in advance!

Today could be the day!

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; -- Romans 4:20

My friend Anita, who is over forty, wants to be married. If she believes what the world says, she might as well assign herself to being alone for the rest of her life. satan, the influencer of the world, wants us to believe that because of her age, it’s too late, and that MOST men would be eligible for her, are in jail or worse. Because she trusts Jesus, It is safe to say, that not only will she be married, but to a wonderful man of God who is well balanced and more than she asked for. We cannot take statistics to heart and allow them to dictate our happiness or lack thereof.

Your goals or dreams may entail something different than marriage. It doesn’t matter if it has to do with other aspects of your personal life and relationships, finances, work, health or your spiritual life. All things are possible with God. The things that you desire for your life, can and will happen; if you continue to move forward and continue to study the word of God.

When I started exercising in the mornings, I envisioned what I would look like. I was excited and eager to get started every morning. But when I begin to let other things interrupt and take precedence over my mornings, my exercises suffered. One missed morning became two, and two turned into a month, and now, six months later, I have to start over. If my mind had been made up to keep going no matter what, I would be in a much healthier state now.

In Hosea 4:6 God says that His people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. This nugget of knowledge tells us to keep learning, KEEP MOVING, be all that you can be in Christ. WE can’t allow something someone says or things we are going through to stop us from moving forward. Jesus says that He came to give us life MORE abundantly, he has an expected end for us, which includes a wonderful life right here, beginning today. If you keep moving, today could be the day you see it come to pass!

God bless,
Pamyla

And a Child shall lead them

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God—Luke 18:27

When I was growing up we stayed outside until the fireflies came out. We laughed and giggled until we were out of breath, and it didn’t matter how the day ended, we always knew that tomorrow would be better. And because we believed, it usually was. We jump roped, played jacks stones, and hopscotch learning organization and communication skills on the fly. On other days we rode our bikes, while pulling skaters behind us, letting the wind carry us and our imaginations from one world to the next.

Now, when I need a quick get-a-way, I sit in my office chair, close my eyes, and spin my way to the playground. As I praise God, I can see myself handing over a package to Him labeled THE CARES OF MY WORLD. When was the last time you put it all in His hands or danced before Him? I don’t remember anyone saying that becoming an adult also meant that we had to get old.

Jesus said that He came to give life MORE abundantly. How can we give our all when we are beat down, and dragging around, with no energy? What kind of witness is that for the kingdom? Who would want what we have? Children are carefree and giddy, full of wonder, anxious to please and eager to learn. WE must take better care of ourselves.

A 20 minute walk each day clears our head, helps us to spring out of bed a little faster each morning, it also puts a smile on our faces. Have you ever seen God bring one of your heart desires to life? As it begins to blossom, we recognize that only a loving Father could have done such a thing. And the most beautiful part is that we never expressed it out loud, and yet, He heard us. Wow what kind of love is that?

We must worship Him in spirit and in truth friends, and it is much easier to do when you come to Him with a heart as that of a child. I DARE you to seek and live a life of no limits in Christ! I believe that we can have a better childhood than the first one if are willing to go after it.

God bless,
Pamyla

Broken Beyond Recognition

Isaiah 64:8—But now, O LORD, thou are our father we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand

I am a mountain, strong and tall
I am majestic, I look down on all
The ground beneath me began to shake, I was shattered into pieces
I am not the same

I am a boulder, broad and wide
Others marvel at me, I beam with pride
The bull dozers came and knocked me around, I was shattered into pieces
I am not the same

I am a rock, still solid but small
I am used to hurt others, I enjoy it before long
The storms came, they blew me ---------, I was broken into pieces
I am not the same

I am a pebble, small but sure
I am used in child’s play, I am smooth, I am frail
The winds lift me and carry me far away, I was broken still more
I am not the same

I am sand, tiny at best
I comfort tired worn feet, I hold heat for those who need rest
I am crushed and ground even more, no strength have I of my own
I am not the same

I am dust, Everywhere and nowhere is where I lay
The Master has more need of me, He uses me in His clay
I am not the same, but something much greater than before
I have surrendered to His will for my life

I am not the same, I am Broken Beyond Recognition

Dust off your gifts

A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men – Proverbs 18:16
-
During these both rough and uncertain times, many of us are facing economic hardships that we might not otherwise have had to deal with. Even more of us however, have gifts that we have pushed deep into the back of the closet. They were probably not used in the areas we earned our living in. Some of us were told that we could never make a living do the very thing that we loved, and would do, for exactly nothing!

These are the gifts that I am speaking of, those we might not have even cared much for, but were good at. These could be the very things that God uses to bring us out of our personal economic depression. Reach back into the closet and dust off your gifts. They are needed now more than ever! If we ask, our Heavenly Father will show us a way to use them even now. Yield yourself to His Holy Spirit and He will show you the steps to take.

Some of us clean, sew, cook, repair, listen, teach well, among other things. Many times our gifts were laid aside because the income did not follow. I emplore to look again at the thing or things you put down. Ok, the income may not have followed before, but you are a new creature, with a different mindset. If the love is in the work, it will be noticed and the income will abundantly flow.

Take time to think about and be honest with yourself about the things you may not have necessarily cared for, but that you are good at. Go before the Lord in prayer, and go on from there. You never know which door is standing wide open waiting for only you to walk through it! Jesus promised a more abundant life, it is up to us to grab hold and possess it!

God bless,
Pamyla

All signs point to Jesus

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect--
Matthew 24:24

The bible clearly states that there will be numerous signs that point to the end of time. Those who have received Christ will take notice, but not be moved by what they see or hear—unless their faith is shaky.

The world however, has an entirely diferent view. The long winter, rumors of
And the recent weather phenomeons are causing some to faint and fall away from the faith. The bible tells us that these are things that must take place. The deceiver wants us to feel hopeless and left behind by the Lord, it is not true.

I have had a couple of people write me to let me know that they are Jesus. The bible warns us that some will say He is here or there, but to stay still – we are warned against false prophets.

In the parable about the 10 virgins, 5 were wise – they prepared and were ready for the bridegroom. The other 5 were foolish – they left home with the oil left in their lamps and nothing extra. When they couldn’t get more from the 5 wise, they left searching for more, only to return to a closed door! We don’t want that to happen to us. The time to prepare and be ready for Christ’s return is now!

Jesus will return, just as the bible says, in the blink of an eye. When we see him every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord! He
wants to have a right relationship with each of us. You will not pick up a newspaper or turn on CNN only to hear that Jesus was in Atlanta GA and has left already.

Please do not get caught up in what’s going on around you, and freaked out by what others are saying, or thinking. Read the word of God for yourself, our salvation is too precious to trust to hear say and gossip. Yes, there are many signs and wonders to behold, but their appearing does not mark the end. They are not the ones that point to the soon coming of our risen King.

I believe that when every one has heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, that is when He will return. No matter when that time is, it is nearer than when we first believed.

God bless,
Pamyla

You are God's somebody

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee--Hebrews 13:5

There has been a deep famine the land over the past couple of years. Because of the shaking that has taken place, many feel they are faceless, lost, and that their lives are spinning out of control.

If our foundation is weak, nothing built on it will withstand the fires, floods nor storms that come our way. If we become led by our emotions, we can become overwhelmed and feel as if the dirt is being thrown over us. WE have to cast ALL of our cares on Jesus, the one who can, and will perfect all things concerning us.

No one or no thing can make us feel worthless without our permission. In II Corinthians 10:5, we are told to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring it into the captivity of Jesus Christ. We need to know what God says, so we can know the right move to make.

As we read His word, we see how God restores those who trust Him. It may normally take X amount of time to get a certain thing accomplished, but God can accelerate/quicken blessings into the lives of His children. When we are in His will, and pray believing that we receive what we ask, without doubting -- we open the door for Him to do miracles in our lives. All is well, you do matter, your life is not over. You are somebody in Christ. Trust HIm.

God bless,
Pamyla

What's it gonna take?

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe--John 4:48

Because of Jesus and the new covenant, we are no longer under the law. God's word, the bible, is the best way to get to know Him. He holds His word above His name.

In Old Testament times the children of Israel had Almighty God Himself to lead and guide them. They saw many signs and wonderous things upfront and personal, yet they rebelled and went after other gods, time and time again. When Jesus walked the earth those around Him, were face to face witnesses of the power of Almighty God. Wow, can you imagine? Again, there were those who walked away.

Here we are, the seed of Abraham, inheritors of the promises which we can claim for ourselves, and we beg for signs and wonders. If we don't see it, we don't believe it. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen.

It is written that we are healed by the stripes of Jesus, yet we do worry, until a cough turns into something more. It is written that we will be given knowledge of witty inventions, but because it has not happened yet, we allow negative voices to kill our dreams. It is also written that we can prosper 100 fold in the time of famine. We cannot allow what we see and hear going on around us, to take our focus off of the things that God has promised us.

Why can't we move forward? We are going to have to put time into reading our bibles and spending time in the presence of the Lord. Do you have to see a glass boat floating in the middle of the sky to believe Him? His word can change our lives, if only we believe. If faith cometh by hearing, then I'm gonna find out how to build my faith and live a more abundant life today!

God bless,
Pamyla
