Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path -- Psalms 119:105
This scripture is pretty straight forward and becomes more clear to the reader as he/she studies the word of God more.
We will never go wrong following in the footsteps of Jesus. At one time or another, each of us have walked off on our own; walking down the road and into situations that we would not have if our focus were straight.
As children of God we are expected to follow the statues and commandments given us. But, we have all taken a turn or two and walked down different roads and avenues in our lives. But God is longsuffering and merciful. He will forgive us if we ask. But we have to ask.
He knew us before we were formed in our mothers’ womb, yet he still loved us! There has never been anything that we have done or said that surprised or caught Him off guard. There have always been another route that we could have taken, an out so to speak.
We can all turn around and walk the other way. WE never have to walk alone. He promised to never leave nor forsake us. He is our shield and our buckler, and His love for us never ceases.
His word will never lead us astray.
God bless,
Pamyla
