All signs point to Jesus

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect--
Matthew 24:24

The bible clearly states that there will be numerous signs that point to the end of time. Those who have received Christ will take notice, but not be moved by what they see or hear—unless their faith is shaky.

The world however, has an entirely diferent view. The long winter, rumors of
And the recent weather phenomeons are causing some to faint and fall away from the faith. The bible tells us that these are things that must take place. The deceiver wants us to feel hopeless and left behind by the Lord, it is not true.

I have had a couple of people write me to let me know that they are Jesus. The bible warns us that some will say He is here or there, but to stay still – we are warned against false prophets.

In the parable about the 10 virgins, 5 were wise – they prepared and were ready for the bridegroom. The other 5 were foolish – they left home with the oil left in their lamps and nothing extra. When they couldn’t get more from the 5 wise, they left searching for more, only to return to a closed door! We don’t want that to happen to us. The time to prepare and be ready for Christ’s return is now!

Jesus will return, just as the bible says, in the blink of an eye. When we see him every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He is Lord! He
wants to have a right relationship with each of us. You will not pick up a newspaper or turn on CNN only to hear that Jesus was in Atlanta GA and has left already.

Please do not get caught up in what’s going on around you, and freaked out by what others are saying, or thinking. Read the word of God for yourself, our salvation is too precious to trust to hear say and gossip. Yes, there are many signs and wonders to behold, but their appearing does not mark the end. They are not the ones that point to the soon coming of our risen King.

I believe that when every one has heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, that is when He will return. No matter when that time is, it is nearer than when we first believed.

God bless,
Pamyla

You are God's somebody

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee--Hebrews 13:5

There has been a deep famine the land over the past couple of years. Because of the shaking that has taken place, many feel they are faceless, lost, and that their lives are spinning out of control.

If our foundation is weak, nothing built on it will withstand the fires, floods nor storms that come our way. If we become led by our emotions, we can become overwhelmed and feel as if the dirt is being thrown over us. WE have to cast ALL of our cares on Jesus, the one who can, and will perfect all things concerning us.

No one or no thing can make us feel worthless without our permission. In II Corinthians 10:5, we are told to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring it into the captivity of Jesus Christ. We need to know what God says, so we can know the right move to make.

As we read His word, we see how God restores those who trust Him. It may normally take X amount of time to get a certain thing accomplished, but God can accelerate/quicken blessings into the lives of His children. When we are in His will, and pray believing that we receive what we ask, without doubting -- we open the door for Him to do miracles in our lives. All is well, you do matter, your life is not over. You are somebody in Christ. Trust HIm.

God bless,
Pamyla

What's it gonna take?

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe--John 4:48

Because of Jesus and the new covenant, we are no longer under the law. God's word, the bible, is the best way to get to know Him. He holds His word above His name.

In Old Testament times the children of Israel had Almighty God Himself to lead and guide them. They saw many signs and wonderous things upfront and personal, yet they rebelled and went after other gods, time and time again. When Jesus walked the earth those around Him, were face to face witnesses of the power of Almighty God. Wow, can you imagine? Again, there were those who walked away.

Here we are, the seed of Abraham, inheritors of the promises which we can claim for ourselves, and we beg for signs and wonders. If we don't see it, we don't believe it. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen.

It is written that we are healed by the stripes of Jesus, yet we do worry, until a cough turns into something more. It is written that we will be given knowledge of witty inventions, but because it has not happened yet, we allow negative voices to kill our dreams. It is also written that we can prosper 100 fold in the time of famine. We cannot allow what we see and hear going on around us, to take our focus off of the things that God has promised us.

Why can't we move forward? We are going to have to put time into reading our bibles and spending time in the presence of the Lord. Do you have to see a glass boat floating in the middle of the sky to believe Him? His word can change our lives, if only we believe. If faith cometh by hearing, then I'm gonna find out how to build my faith and live a more abundant life today!

God bless,
Pamyla

He inhabits the praises of His people

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD, praise ye the LORD—Psalms 150:6

We are always seeking ways to get our prayers answered. We have all been in a place where our prayers have not gone past the ceiling, leading to frustration, which the deceiver uses against us. We want to know how, but we may be bogged down with life and in a ‘fog’.

The bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people. This world we live in is not our home and the more we strive to live Christ like, the more opposition comes our way. We would be foolish to not expect it, but it especially hurts when it comes from within the body itself. That’s why we are taught to put our trust in the Lord.

Jesus called all who were heavy ladened and burdened. We endure job loss, death of loved ones, financial woes, health problems and are attacked with the dark cloud of depression. How can we ever get past it? The key is praise. No, it isn’t always easy, but if you can just say “Thank you Lord” you have the battle half won!

Remember how he provided transportation, provided food, gave you a roof over your head, held and listened to you when no one else would? So thank Him for it. Before long as you start to count your blessings (remember the song?) you will find a renewed joy and strength well up from inside out. Please KNOW that YES the Lord is there just like He promised He would be.

Begin with a simple “Thank You’ and watch your night transform into day. Remember, it’s always darkest before the dawn, and God promised that as long as the earth remains, morning would come forth after the night.

God bless,
Pamyla

Whats so good about Good Friday?

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said , it is finished and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost—John 19:3

What makes Good Friday so good? Jesus on this day not only gave His life for mine and yours, but he took on all of our sins, each and every one. The one who knew no sin became sin and acted as a conduit so that we could have a right relationship with God.

When He said "It is Finished" he was including, all of the shame, all of the hurt, and all of the pain that many of us have experienced and that some of us still live with. Because Jesus did what he did we don't have to live defeated lives as puppets on a string being pulled, prodded and poked by satan.

In Christ, we do not have to succomb to the activities of our pasts, nor live mediocre at best lives, where we are hoping and wishing for the best. The bible states that He who has begun a good work in us, will continue it until the day of Jesus Christ.

If we believe what God says then we can proclaim that We are The Healed, We are Overcomers and we are New Creatures in Christ! Once we receive Christ the old man is put away and we can walk in the newness of life. As we study the God's word, we begin to know Him, and the plan that He has for our lives.

He removed all of the doubt and unbelief. It doesn't matter what we have done, or where we came from. No we are no longer drug abusers, murderers, or thieves. We are overcomers, new creatures and victors!

It is finished!

Get into a bible teaching, Jesus believing church and learn more about the sinless lamb who not only changes lifes, but does remarkable transformations (miracles) through the word of God.

God bless,
Pamyla
